Dear Friends,

Description of the dogs’ habits, preferences, their interaction with people, children, other dogs and cats, etc., looks short and incomplete.

The fact is that we are talking about the homeless animals being captured from the streets and avoided cruel shooting. They are kept in small cold boxes, often several in one box, often without food and water, in winter on bare boards.

We can indicate some information about those animals, which were taken out to foster by volunteers from the shelter. Regarding the animals that are in the shelter, we can provide information about a particular dog upon your request - volunteers will check him during their next visit. Visiting hours of the shelter are limited by the administration; there is enormous number of dogs and very few volunteers.

If you have questions about a particular dog, don’t hesitate to contact us! We will try to provide you more detailed information either from a foster, or on-the-spot, in the shelter. Our fosters are often just out-of-town open-air cages where the animals are better treated – they have food and water. They are not beaten there, but generally no one looks after them either. If the dog was taken out from the shelter in a bad health condition, with medical problems, volunteers try to find a temporary apartment close to a vet, where a dog will be treated.

All medical procedures, transport, foster, food are compensated from the funds raised by concerned people. The more we collect the more help an animal will get.

Dear friends, don’t be afraid of taking a dog or a cat from the shelter! Most of them are people-oriented and want to find a caring Owner. They are desperate for communication, and each time someone is passing by their box, hope that today will be exactly the day they will go home and never return into this place.

Following this link you will find the examples of animals that went to their new homes straight from the shelter. As you can see, they adapt to a new environment very quickly and become true pets!

If you liked one or more animals from our shelter, don’t hesitate to contact us (e-mail, web form). We will be happy to provide more detailed information. Contact us, while it is still possible to find a dog you liked.

Lifetime of these animals is limited!
